Preserve the parcel before changing the evidence

Photograph the label privately, outer box, seals, internal protection and affected items. Keep a list of the items expected and received, using order IDs rather than only brand names. Do not throw away packing materials while the service is assessing the problem.

FedEx’s US claim guidance explicitly asks customers to keep original packaging for possible inspection until a claim is resolved. This supports preserving evidence; it does not mean every Kakobuy route uses FedEx or the same claims process.FedEx US: missing or damaged shipment claims

Check the reporting window immediately

Kakobuy’s receipt instructions, rendered on November 2, 2026, ask for abnormal parcels to be reported to customer service within 72 hours. For damaged or incomplete parcels not inspected with the delivery person, the page also specifies a report to the local postal operator within two days of the carrier’s delivered time, with packaging retained.Kakobuy parcel receipt precautions

These are the platform page’s reporting instructions, not an assurance that every claim is eligible. Contact the relevant parties promptly and ask about the applicable process. Do not replace a shorter reporting requirement with a longer deadline found in an unrelated carrier guide.

Describe the loss precisely

Distinguish a parcel not received at all from a delivered parcel with missing contents, physical damage or an incorrect item. Record the exact delivered status and time. If the carrier provides a delivery photograph or recipient detail, compare it privately with your expected location before describing the event as a loss.

Ask the purchasing service who must submit any carrier claim and which records they need. Keep the support reference and the next requested action. A submitted complaint is not an approved payout, and an insured route still needs its own eligibility and evidence assessment.

Keep a private timeline and a redacted public version

Save the time you discovered the issue, each report, the attachments sent and each response. If an amount is offered, ask which items and charges it covers. When requesting community advice, remove personal details and full identifiers; keep the complete evidence for the service handling the claim.
