Start with the destination’s address format

The Universal Postal Union provides country-specific addressing resources for checking postcode structure and address elements. Its guidance supports using the destination’s postal format rather than forcing every country into a US-style address layout.Universal Postal Union: addressing solutions

Look up the local operator for the actual country you are shipping to. Check the locality, region where required, postcode and building or apartment identifier. Enter the delivery address you can receive mail at; a billing address and a parcel address may answer different questions in the forms.

Check what the form keeps and what the label prints

Review the country selector as well as the typed address. A correct postcode placed under the wrong country can still be wrong for the shipment. After saving, reopen the address and check that required apartment, building or access information has not been cut off or moved into an unsuitable field.

Keep essential delivery information in the appropriate address fields. Ask the service what can appear on the label if a necessary detail does not fit. A note in a shopping remark may not be part of the address sent to the carrier; confirm rather than assume.

  • Recipient name is the intended recipient.
  • Country, locality and postcode belong together.
  • Apartment or building information is complete.
  • Contact details are current and entered in the requested format.
  • Saved parcel address matches the destination you intend.

Resolve payment-address requirements early

Kakobuy’s PayPal instruction page says the payment-page shipping address must match the address submitted for the parcel. Check the current instruction for the payment method you actually use; do not assume an address can be freely replaced after paying.Kakobuy PayPal top-up instructions

If the address is wrong or you need a different recipient, ask official support whether the account, payment or parcel must be changed and in which order. Keep the response with the transaction reference. Do not alter records merely to conceal a mismatch.

Ask about lockers, PO boxes and corrections

Confirm that the chosen service accepts a locker, collection point or PO box before using one. Obtain the correct identifier and format from that operator. If you discover an error after dispatch, ask the actual carrier or shipper which correction options remain; an edit to a saved address does not establish a change to an existing label.
